The Ladakh Expedition tour package is an epic 7-day adventure that covers Ladakh’s stunning landscapes, cultural gems, and off-the-beaten-path destinations! Here’s a detailed breakdown of each day:
Day 01: Arrival in Leh and Local Sightseeing
– Arrive in Leh (11,500 ft)
– Acclimatize to the high altitude
– Visit Leh Palace, Namgyal Tsemo Monastery, and Shanti Stupa
– Explore Leh Market for local handicrafts and souvenirs
Day 02: Leh – Sham Valley – Leh (round trip)
– Drive to Sham Valley (approx. 50 km, 1.5 hours)
– Visit Alchi Monastery, Basgo Palace, and Likir Monastery
– Enjoy scenic views of the Indus River and surrounding landscape
– Return to Leh in the evening
Day 03: Leh – Khardungla Pass – Nubra Valley – Hunder – Sand Dunes
– Drive to Khardungla Pass (18,380 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable roads
– Continue to Nubra Valley (approx. 125 km, 5 hours)
– Visit Diskit Monastery and explore Hunder Sand Dunes
– Enjoy a camel ride (optional) on double-humped Bactrian camels
Day 04: Nubra – Turtuk (Last village of India) – Nubra Valley
– Drive to Turtuk (approx. 80 km, 3 hours), a picturesque village near the Pakistan border
– Explore Turtuk’s quaint culture, scenic valleys, and historic sites
– Return to Nubra Valley in the evening
Day 05: Nubra to Pangong Lake
– Drive to Pangong Lake (approx. 270 km, 6-7 hours)

Day 06: Pangong Lake to Leh Sightseeing + Shopping

Day 07: Departure from Leh Airport
