Day 01: Delhi – Shimla

Traveling from Delhi to Shimla by road offers a picturesque journey through various landscapes. The direct route covers a distance of approximately 227 miles (365 km by 8/9 hours). The route passes through the villages of Haryana and Punjab before reaching the hilly terrains of Himachal Pradesh. Traveling by car is a popular choice for this journey, allowing travelers to experience the joy of a road trip and witness the scenic beauty along the way.

If you are planning a road trip from Delhi to Shimla, several stopovers are recommended to enhance your journey experience. These include Chandigarh and other attractions like MR. CHEF INTERNATIONAL

Consider exploring different routes for your road trip endeavor. One of the shortest routes from Delhi to Shimla includes passing through Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Pinjore, Kasauli, and finally Shimla.

Evening reach Shimla, relax and enjoy overnight stay after the dinner at hotel.

Day 02: Explore Shimla

After morning meal start to visit Kufri, beyond the winter sports, Kufri boasts a rich cultural tapestry. The Mahasu Devta Temple, a centuries-old shrine, stands as a testament to the region’s spiritual heritage, while the Himalayan Bird Park showcases the diverse avian species that call this region home.

Afternoon we will come back to Shimla and exploring Indian Advance Study, Lakkar Bazaar, Vice Regal Lodge, Jakhu Hills, Sankat Mochan Temple, Mall Road and The Ridge.

Later shopping for your love once and overnight at Shimla.

Day 03: Shimla – Kullu – Manali (232 Km / 7 to 8 Hours)

After breakfast, let’s start our next destination like Manali with the mesmerizing view of Sunder Nagar Dam, Pandoh Dam (Near Mandi), Kullu Shawl Emporium and Rafting Point in Beas River at Kullu. After reaching at Manali, clear your check in formalities and check in to your room for night halt in Manali.

Day 04: Manali Local Day Trip

After breakfast, indulge in Manali local day trip and explore ancient and historical temple of Hadimba Devi, Manu and Vashishth temple with holy dip in sulphur hot springs. Also explore Tibetan monastery and Nature Pak at Mall Road. Return and overnight at Manali hotel.

Day 05: Manali to Rohtang Pass – Atal Tunnel – Solang valley – Manali

Day 5th is an important part of your trip as you will watch the nature and mountains at Rohtang Pass with various snow activities. Atal Tunnel and Solang valley are another best option to enjoy snow sports. Later return to Manali for overnight.

Day 06: Manali to Chandigarh – 265 / 7 to 8 Hours journey

Morning check out and depart from Manali, make your way to the vibrant city of Chandigarh. Upon arrival, explore the famous shopping place of Chandigarh city at sector 17. Later, check-in to hotel for overnight halt. 

Day 07: Chandigarh sightseeing – Delhi (250 Km – 5 Hours Drive)

After morning meal, check out from hotel and get ready to explore Chandigarh city till afternoon. Chandigarh, a city in northern India, is known for its modern architecture and urban planning. Here are some popular sightseeing places to visit in Chandigarh:

  1. Rock Garden: A unique garden featuring sculptures made from natural rocks, stones, and waste materials.
  2. Sukhna Lake: A picturesque man-made lake perfect for boating, walking, and picnicking.
  3. Rose Garden: A beautiful garden with over 1,600 varieties of roses and other plants.
